Management Commitment
Adif, in the scope of goods transport, aims to efficiently and safely manage its terminals and other systems bound to provide services to the companies operating railway transport of goods.
Its main functions are:
- To manage the terminals and other goods systems that have been assigned to ADIF.
- To guarantee the provision of additional, complementary and auxiliary services with the criteria of efficiency and quality, respecting the principles of objectivity, transparency and non-discrimination.
- Offering other services linked to the transport of goods by railway in a de-regulated context.
- Encourage the modal exchange of goods.
- Optimize the resources available.
- Increase security in operations.
Through its Logistical Services Department, ADIF provides support to licensed railway companies and candidates with the assigned capacity which request it, in conformity with the conditions stipulated in the Statement of the Network.
Adif’s management in its goods terminals guarantees non-discrimination and is carried out with company management criteria which make a sustainable system possible, from an economic and environmental perspective, with suitable levels of quality.
