The station has the key

The Open Station Programme has been created with the aim of driving the role of stations as meeting spaces, which are open to citizens and where cultural, artistic, value-awareness, etc. activities are staged. To sum up, they are spaces which are in close contact with the social and cultural life of the environment in which they are located.

The activities in the “Open Station” program include the staging of cultural, social and environmental initiatives at the railway stations managed by Adif.

One of these activities entails visits by schoolchildren to the abovementioned stations whose aim is to divulge environmentally-friendly values and the role of the railway as the most sustainable transport system, in addition to explaining what ADIF is and what its values are. At the same time, the schoolchildren learn what railway stations are and how to get around them. The programme is targeted at primary education pupils aged between 6 and 12 and includes the organisation of guided visits for primary schoolchildren to the stations where, through a clues game, they are shown around and learn its history and how to manage there.

The visit is organised like a race in which the children will have to discover a mystery through clues. One of the parts of the visit is the showing of the film “The Adif Gang”, which will help them to discover some of the clues.

These clues will lead them to discover a PASSCODE, which will be used for subsequent actions on the www.pandillaadif.es web page.

The Adif Gang

A new team of super heroes has been born. They are young, fun, and full of energy and good ideas. They are the ADIF Gang. They are normal children until their super powers turn them into Rail, Catenary, Tunnel, Traffic Light and Sleeper. With their incredible powers and the help of their friends Tic Tac and Chucu Chucu, they will work to help the citizens of Railwayland and to fight against Mad Scrap Dealer and his dangerous sidekick, Pollution.

Come in and meet the most courageous of super heroes and help them in their adventures to ensure that all the citizens become more united and closer together than ever and that the nature surrounding them does not disappear as a result of falling into the hands of the Mad Scrap Dealer and Pollution.

Video Synopsis

A group of friends - Raúl, Catalina, Toño, Teresa and Sergio – are playing in a park. Raúl has taken a mysterious railway pocket watch which he has borrowed from his father and which, as they will discover by chance, has strange powers which will transport them to another dimension. A world in which they will no longer be human children, but where they will be transformed into cartoon characters endowed with special powers, becoming “The Adif Gang”.

In this world, which is called Railwayland, they will fight against the Mad Scrap Dealer, an evil character who, using a kind of highly-polluting car, has attacked the city leaving it without a railway. The Adif Gang will be tasked with the mission of establishing order in Railwayland once again and, to do this, they will overcome obstacles and get involved in adventures.
